Blue Man of the Cave
The began as a painting of a cave and in discussions with my art teacher, she saw the man in the cave by just turning it 90-degrees. It was a last minute find in the painting. Look for the 3 hidden people.
Alien Bug In Space
Pour of multiple colors. First thing that appeared was a red alien bug in the pour. I then did an overpaint of a night scene behind the bug. Look for the hidden rockstar!
After doing A Whale of Relationships painting, I started thinking about sailboats. This is the 3rd iteration of those thoughts.

Modeling Clay Experiment
My first attempt at using modeling clay on a canvas. This was an experiment in using modeling clay to add to a painting’s detail. I found visions within the clay, outlined them, painted them and detailed them out.
What do you see?

The Man in the Fireplace
I noticed this in our fireplace one evening and decided to take a photo and paint it. And he’s still there! See the original photo on my Process page at this link.
It goes with Isaiah 43:2.3
When you walk through fire you shall not be burned, and the flame shall not consume you.
