Apple Orchard
This painting is from a photo I took of the apple trees alongside my church in Woodstock, Good Shepherd Lutheran. See the full progression from the photo and pencil drawing to the finished acrylic painting on my Process page at this link.
This my first oil painting. This is of a picture of a landscape I thought was pretty neat. It is the first painting I ever sold. This photo took my 6 months to paint. I learned how to paint reflections with this painting with the help of Debbie Tidwell.
Crossroads
This is an abstract of sea/sky, apple tree, Webb telescope rendering of space, and trail finds. The challenge was to show four segments of nature. This was from my first multimedia class taken from Tarn Eyl.
This is a painting of a Lily House Plant that Susan had in our home.
This is a Hydrangea on the side of our house in full bloom.
Jen’s Tree
Colored pencil drawing of the tree and surrounding foliage in my daughter Jen’s front yard
Canoer Going Over The Waterfalls
Can you find the canoer? This painting didn’t start this way; it actually was another modeling clay experiment of a cactus plant in a desert. Then it turned into a landscape of a waterfall as I detailed the modeling clay.
